Wandering the streets of Paris with my favorite V1174 Dress

Oh, you didn’t think that I would finish posting photos from my Paris trip, did you? :P It’s such a beautiful city that I couldn’t keep myself from taking zillions of photos, and some for my DIY wardrobe posts. Well, it’s not French Vogue, but it’ll do I think :D
Visiting Fabric Stores in Paris
As a passionate seamstress, I have to find time to spend in the fabric stores of every city I visit. And if this city is Paris, I HAD to buy something that would remind me of it all the time.
So here I was, visiting the ever so famous Montmartre. I had a wonderful time up in the Basilique du Sacre Coeur and the bohemian Montmartre area. But thanks to the other sewing bloggers, I knew very well that this was also the place for buying some French fabrics!

I love Paris in the Spring Time…

Well well… The dream is over… Every story about Paris, all the fantasy created around the name of this city has proved to be true in my eyes. Everything is surrounded with a sense of style, with art, culture and history… The grocery store, the patisseries, the boutiques, even the crazy people that we saw every single day in the Metro were very artistic :D
Paris, Here I Come!
For the first time in my life, I won a lottery! And it is a free trip to PARIS! Can you believe it?! :D

Our plane tickets are provided by an electronics company and all I had to do was to buy some ink for my printer! Moreover, we arranged a free stay in a hotel facing the Eiffel Tower!
Apart from the ticket taxes, we’ve got everything free of charge! And it’s Paris. It’s PARIS! :D But if anyone asks, tell them that I’m going there for my fashion shoot! After all, it is the place where style is kind of invented :P
The only thing that keeps me from getting wings and flying there this instant is my three year old that I’m going to stay apart for the first time since he was born :( But I feel that it is time for both of us to get used to staying a part for a while.
Moreover, I bought some toys and gave them to his grandma telling her that she should give one new gift to him each day until I come, as every mature mother would do! Embarrassing, but true… I’m bribing my son to have a clean conscience for enjoying my free vacation with my husband in Paris…
Will it work? We’ll see! So, wait for me Paris, here I come! :)
