Any Questions?
Congratulations! I haven’t seen many blogs that provide such thorough tutorials! Keep up the good work Sensei! By the way, when are you planning to sew and tell about a Chanel jacket?

Thanks for your comment :)
Let me clarify one thing first: I’m not a Sensei of anyone :) The “grasshopper” in the “Watch and Learn Grasshopper” page is actually myself who is a self-taught and very enthusiastic seamstress :)
I also think that I should sew a Chanel jacket these days, but I have couple of other sewing projects in mind before that. I guess I can include it on the to-do list for next month. In the meantime, please do watch the making of a Chanel jacket video I shared couple of weeks ago:

Adoring the new fabric booty :)
Since the fabric pile at home is still not above by head… (more around my shoulders I must add) I went to the fabric store to look for something new and fresh. Then I found this adorable chiffon fabric!
And the best part is, I have just the right earrings for it! :P The (only) good thing about living in a textile heaven country is that you can find various types of fabrics almost for free :) Well, almost… This gorgeous chiffon costs around 2 USD a yard!

MOST POPULAR FASHION PHOTO OF THE WEEK…
As you might remember, I have opened a Look Book for SYS for having an inspirational resource for our sewing projects and for following what is going on in the “high fashion world”. Thanks to Tumblr, it is very easy to follow the most liked and shared post in my blogs. So from now on I wanted to share with you the most popular fashion photo by my readers every week. If you’d like to look through this inspirational resource, feel free to click on the SYS Inspirational LookBook link on the top right corner!
Looking for skirt inspirations before starting my next sewing project.
You can visit my Look Book for more lovely fashion photos,. It’s becoming a really cool style reference, both for sewing inspirations and for street fashion :)

Dear Steph, thanks a lot for enjoying my work and sparing time to leave me such an ego-boost comment! It’s so wonderful and fun to see that we women have the same interests, sense of style, humor and wee-man challenges, whether we’re from Turkey or from x part of the world! Thanks again for the great comments and hope you’ll stop by again soon :))

Hello Everyone!
I have been working on a sub-project for some time now. I’ve just finished it and it’s now published. I hope you’ll like it.
You may either like sewing or just enjoy window shopping, I think all of us have a soft
spot for fashion, good designs, or putting it simply: pretty things to watch.
Personally I like getting inspired by creative designs especially when I’m sewing. And I wanted to share with you some sort of a scrap book for my inspirations. Finally I managed to design a webpage specificly focusing on the things I like about fashion, style, outfits, accessories, shoes etc.
You may either enjoy going through the photos, or use it as an inspirational lookbook for your sewing projects, up to you.
In either case…enjoy! D
